1.Terrassa

Terrassa restaurant is located not far from the main artery of the city-  Nevsky view and can boast of spectacular views on Kazansky cathedral. Interiors are modern, simple and cozy.  The menu is very diverse where you can find both Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.  The prices are higher than in smaller restaurants but you pay not only for the food and service but for the location as well.

2. Mansarda

Another restaurant of Ginza project with a stunning view on St. Isaac cathedral is Mansarda. It has a great variety of dishes from Russian cuisine to an international one. Most people say there is delicious food, excellent service, and gorgeous views. It is a must place for photographer buffs. Tables are better to book in advance. At times you can find bad reviews on Trip Advisor which might be a matter of personal taste. The prices are quite high and there is also a dress-code.
 

3.Cherdak Khudozhnika

Fondue-restaurant Cherdak Khudozhnika (Artists’ attic) is a lovely spot to enjoy the sunset. A magic atmosphere, attentive service, great quality of food make this restaurant a gem in the city. It is a great place to start your leisure day in St. Petersburg, have a glass of wine, or finish the day with a hearty meal.

4 Singer café

Singer café s located in one of the most famous buildings in St. Petersburg built in the early 20th century in Art- Nouveau style. It is easy to find and great to have a break off sight.Singer caféseeing and stop for lunch.   If you are lucky, try to take the closest table to the window to enjoy a lovely view on Kazansky cathedral. The staff speaks English and they are helpful and friendly. The food is excellent and the prices are average.

5.Gastronomika

Gastronomika might be another choice if you are looking for a roof-top restaurant to dine in. The place is nicely located on the roof of the building and there is a great playground for kids. It offers a great variety of delicious dishes. Staff does their best to make your stay enjoyable. The view over St Petersburg is amazing.

6. Koryushka

A great place for fish and Georgine food where you can have a break after your Peter and Paul fortress tour is Koryushka restaurant.  There you can enjoy not only good service and delicious food but also a  lovely view over the Winter palace and the Neva river.

7. Letuchiy Golandets

Another option to consider after the tour of Peter and Paul fortress is Letuchiy Golandets (“Flying Dutchman”) restaurant located at the embankment in the ship of Peter the Great times. Here you can find one of the best views on Winter Palace, the Neva river and Admiralty. Managers and staff need more training though and do not speak English well.
